Many of us have heard the term “transformational coach” before, but few who haven’t considered becoming one know what it entails. Transformational coaching is similar to life coaching in that it helps people to become better versions of themself. - Keeping emotionally stable: This may sound like a valid point for any line of work, or in life for that matter, but it’s especially important if you’re working as a therapist, coach, or counselor. The reason for this is that, if you’re feeling emotionally drained, such emotions may be absorbed by the client, and this may have the opposite effect of your intentions. What I don’t mean, however, is to throw your sympathy and empathy out the door, as these can be extremely effective tools in understanding your client’s situation, and may help you in coaching them.
